In an increasingly digitalized world paper and business cards are becoming obsolete. Most business cards get littered have negative environmental impacts or sit in a wallet until they are thrown away. AirSwipe utilizes near-field communication or NFC chips in standard plastic cards that can be taped to a phone and send a website link with an individual's contact information. Furthermore, the card has a QR code that can be scanned for the same purpose of bringing you to a personalized contact page that can be downloaded and thus successfully saved. This essentially means you have a business card that stores all your contact information and can then be wirelessly transferred to an iPhone by QR code or NFC.
